Take 500 grams of chicken and wash it thoroughly. Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces and marinate it with 1 cup of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of ginger paste, 1 tablespoon of garlic paste, and salt to taste. Keep the marinated chicken aside for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the paste

In a blender, add 2 sliced onions, 4 green chillies, 10-12 cashew nuts, and 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds. Blend them into a smooth paste.

Step 3: Cook the chicken

In a deep pan, heat 3 tablespoons of ghee and add the marinated chicken to it. Fry the chicken for 5-6 minutes until it turns golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and keep it aside.

Step 5: Add the chicken

Now, add the fried chicken to the paste and mix well. Add 1 cup of water to the pan and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 6: Add fresh cream

Once the chicken is cooked, add 2 tablespoons of fresh cream to the pan and mix well. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
